Londonian Praise

Hillsong Church London. Took this photo in July when I went to London. Haven’t had much photographic inspiration these days and my Nikon is sitting unused in its bag. Keen on doing photoshoots, but I struggle to find the time to balance everything I’ve got going.

Thanks to everyone that wished me a happy birthday last week. Eternally grateful for all the well-wishes. Although sometimes I think I’ve had enough birthdays to last a lifetime. Lets leave it at that yeah? Haha…

If anyone wants to wish me luck with job applications, I’d most welcome that too. And my presentation at the Scottish Renal Association as well. If you’d like to come and give me support, I’d love it. Do the wave as I give my presentation. That’d be totally awesome.

FINALLY IT’S OVER! The long travel times to and fro the Royal Alexandria Hospital have come to an end. I can start to take things easy now that I’m posted to the Western Infirmary for the next 5 weeks.

I am starting to feel that I can actually do this job. It’s not as hard as I once thought it was. I think the decisions I make are justifiable and maybe, just maybe, I actually can pull it off as a doctor. Time will tell!

Or maybe I should be a full-time photographer?

Flying Over Buckingham Palace

Spotted planes flying low over Buckingham palace in London. Tried to get myself into a nice position and I quite like how this shot turned out.

Watched Wall.E today and it’s such a funny movie. I think although kids will find it incredibly amusing, I found it incredibly political. A great kick in the butt as to where our world is heading. It would make Al Gore proud.

Wallowing In Westminster

T-minus one week before I’m off for my pan Southeast Asian tour. Getting a bit daunted by just how busy I’m going to be. But excited about all the shots I will be able to get out of it as well.

Thanks for everyone’s concern regarding my bad experience in London. I’m alright now but it was a harrowing experience.

Dancing In Covent Garden

An eventful trip to London. Was supposed to be a relaxing trip to chill out after the end of my elective turned into chase after a thief.

Started off well. The sweltering heat wasn’t pleasant but still bearable. However, on the 2nd day someone stole my bag from the Starbucks in Covent Garden and almost got away with it. However, I noticed that my bag was missing and ran out of the coffeeshop in time to see 2 guys walking off with my bag.

I was so pissed. I just feel like bashing their heads in. I hate thieves. I chased after them got my bag back and they just walked away.

AARRGGHH…
