Picture In Picture Of Glasgow Harbour

Haven’t had the time to upload any new photos the last couple of days so I thought I’d shoot one for today.
It’s an old idea but I always think it’s a great idea. I’d like to have a spare camera set-up so I can take a picture everyday of the ship being built but I don’t have that great a view of it so it wouldn’t be the best of projects. I’ve had so many photographic ideas but not necessarily the will to do them.
Give Me My Baby
In-between working on my case for pseudo-gout and my case for alcoholic withdrawal and my last case for systemic sclerosis, I got bored and decided I should try something new on Photoshop. Namely, texturing. As you can see, I’m not very good at it. I can’t find that happy medium where the texture shines through and the picture does not become overly sharp.
There are a few great texturized shots out there and I shall keep on trying. I just love this picture. Took this just outside my window. Its of a couple of grandparents (I think!) taking their grandson out to see the seagulls which just so happen to be out of the frame of this picture. So I was hoping for an aged shot where it looked like it had been taken out of a scrapbook from years past.
Flying Crane
Took this shot just outside my window. Think it’s a great shot. It was good looking in the camera but when I tried messing around with photoshop, this came out. Damn. I wish I knew how I did that as well.
On another note, I think Flickr is going to come after me with machetes. I just got a pro Flickr account and am totally abusing their unlimited upload policy by uploading 30GB of photos there. Anyone know a good lawyer? Don’t you just love the sound of the word pro? Sounds like you’ve made it. You’re there. Your hard work brings you into the upper echelons of the profession.
Unfortunately, in this case, it only costed £12.
